I did DBT here for a little over a year. I loved the group facilitator, and the program really helped me. You get out what you put in, its not magic, but its a great resource for learning new skills and making positive lifelong changes.

Despite all the negative reviews, my experience here was mostly excellent for about 7 months. That is, until my previous therapist transferred to a different clinic, and my new therapist acted extremely unprofessionally and displayed a disturbing lack of empathy, trying to twist my words in a one-on-one session under the pretense of trying to encourage me to challenge my views. A word of advice: if you end up in a group with Ashley and/or have her as an individual therapist, RUN.

I was in the program for a year. My counselor was terrible, she tried to shame me when using skills in front of the group multiple times. She should not be working there! AVOID AVOID AVOID

Safe space for me to find support and learn skills to regulate my emotions. Having moved to Minnesota the beginning of last year from the East Coast, the DBT program MHS provides has been a saving grace for me. My co-therapists/group facilitators are kind, empathetic, non judgmental and extremely validating. Thank you MHS!
