I love doing things online and only online. Pamela is very accommodating in this regard. We communicate by email when needed. I did meet her once when it was more convenient to sign documents in person. Very professional.
The downside is that like all other insurers Farmers Insurance thinks you should put all your eggs in their basket. I have Home insurance with Farmers, having switched from another top insurance company that I realized was overcharging me after I had been with them for over 15 years.
At that time I did have most of my eggs in one basket; I also had my car insurance with that other company. Responding to a commercial talking about how much I could save, I found out I was overpaying $1,000 per year. The company I went with there has never contacted me trying to get my Home insurance. They claim in commercials I would save by bundling - Not True! Farmers Insurance has a better rate than my Car insurance company can offer with bundles.
The same is true with Farmers Insurance - I get a better rate getting separate Car insurance than I would by bundling with my Home insurance. But I still get occasional emails from Farmers making the claim.
With that one exception, Farmers Insurance and Pamela Richardson are great with my Home Insurance needs!!

Nevermind mind that i pay my insurance bill a year at a time. Every few months, i get a bill from farmers because this agent decides to change something on my policy...all without consulting me. Possibly the worst insurance experience in my life.
Regarding the response from the owner (since I have no way to respond to that): I did not write my own policy on the web. I called and spoke to a Farmers agent. I answered all their questions as accurately as possible. The increases came after the inspection and I understand that. The irritation arose when after another few months, I get yet another bill. The response is disingenuous at best, purposefully misleading at worst.

Fast, friendly and very courteous service from both our personal Farmers insurer and the occasional question I had on a late weekend to their website. They also helped me get home coverage included in their services.
When I needed towing they provided that too when I sent in receipts. It is also less expensive than the company they merged into; and I recommend Farmers to anyone who needs excellent coverage
