Nice room great location . Was with my family the tv went out at 5pm I called down they told there was no one on staff to fix it till the next day at 8am i asked them to make a note . I am a reasonable person kids were bummed was what can u do.no one came the next day when I called and spoke to the manager . The manager just kept repeating themselves over and over saying we have maintenance till 10 p m we have maintenance till 10pm. Which I finally replied. Didn't why did they tell me there was no maintenance? The manager did not seem to care. . . I am also in the hospitality industry. I did not want to write a review. On top of all of that the day before I Wanted an extra key for my son. Upon askingfor one I realized I did not have i d on me. But they never asked for it. They asked for my last name and room number. I went back to talk to the front desk to say Hey, you're not supposed to do that but I appreciate it and he says I gave you the key because you knew the complicated last name that you have..

I think this is the best location for Mayo Clinic stay. Easy walk in on subway level.

Fraud on large scale.
This Marriott turns off the air conditioning for all outside units in the winter. But the windows are sealed shut. So on warm nights these rooms get stifling. They do not tell you this when you check in. And when you complain pretend there is a mechanical problem. They call maintenance. I happened to be there when maintenance arrived and he explained that he could not fix it because the system was turned off. The windows were sealed because one had fallen out a few years ago. I had had a similar problem when I stayed last year but everyone pretended it was a mechanical problem and moved me to an inside room where the air conditioning works. This time I endured the heat for two nights and went and complained. After the maintenance man explained the scam I went and complained to the same manager who had lied to me last year. I demand credit for the two nights. He told me that since I didn't complain the first night, he would not give credit. I told him that they were committing fraud and demand my money back. He refused. I confronted the lady at the counter about her participation in this fraud and she said that she was an employee and had to do as told.
I am a Mayo patient. The nights of exceds heat added do my discomfort from surgery. This injury to me was not great but does set the stage for intentional damages and punitive damages.
This is fraud on a large scale that has continued at least 2 years. I stand ready to testify. I am worried that the maintenance man who told the truth may suffer consequences.
I demand refund for the nights stayed this year as well as the 3 nights stayed last year.
