Horrible experience. Avoid robert half if you can.

Worst experience. I just don't reccomend anyone applying through robert half. Its just the waste of time. I wasted 8months with them no job yet. I would say Never ever trust any agencies, I have bad experience with almost 2 agencies and now Robert half they give hope and never give a job. It's been 8th months since I have been interviewed with Robert half I keep calling all the time to check if there is any position they say it is filled, I really don't understand I was waiting since so long isn't there a single position for me? After 7 month they are saying the positions are filled so what basis are they giving jobs? They do interview and say no job. Worst and worst experience I would never reccomend going with robert half.

If there's a pattern, there's a problem. . .
On Jan. 9, 2024, I applied for a Marketing & Communications Specialist position that was posted on Indeed, by both sending in my resume via the Indeed online job app and by emailing the contact person listed in the posting: Barbara Strohoffer. (I feel comfortable divulging her name, because it was listed in the public Indeed job posting.)
Barbara reached out to me the next to set up a MS Teams interview, which I had to email her twice to gain clarification on whether this would be a video or audio-only interview. Finally, about 20 minutes before the interview, Barbara confirmed it was video.
Approximately 10 minutes into the interview, Barbara said that the position has been on hold with her client for quite some time. Confused, I asked her directly and pointedly why she would post a job that doesn't exist -- it was nothing short of a fake job posting that was bringing in an applicant base for. Her reply? "Well, things change," and she hurriedly moved on to discussing next steps. (Next steps for a fake, nonexistent job? Interesting.)
Barbara then slyly tried to ask me what companies I've been interviewing at on my own, presumably so she could swoop in to market me or other candidates from the, no doubt large, applicant base she was reeling in with a bogus job post.
Folks, if there's a pattern of person after person after reliable person saying the same thing about this, it's because it's true. Avoid this staffing agency like the plague that they are.

I've been unemployed for over 6 months. I've spoken to several RH recruiters like Amy and Michelle. They never submitted me for a job or got me an interview. Every other recruiting company I've worked with since has made Any from RH look foolish.
I should be one of their top priorities instead I'm not a thought.
Robert half is not good at what they preach. I would recommend every other recruiting company over them.

I applied for a position at Robert Half. I did not get an interview for that position, but a rep contacted me about a different position. She set up an interview, and I ended getting that one. Very pleased.
