I like the service at The Joint. I am disappointed that the app is no longer available. I felt this was a huge advantage to be able to see when the busy times of day were and plan my visits during the lulls. I felt I attended more frequently when the app was available. I strongly encourage The Joint to continue use of an app for the customer experience.

Walk in except every Thursday and every other Saturday. Came at 4:45 (theyre open till 7) and had a sign on the door that said wait list closed for the night and was told Id have to wait 2 hours to be seen (3 people in the lobby) asked if I needed to make appointments now and was told No. But every Thursday and every other Saturday people come in and save their spot and come when its their time.
I come here because I have two small kids and making appointments is hard so I fit it in when I can- I dont have time to come in and save my spot hours ahead, and I dont think its fair to have to wait for people who come and then leave. Either take appointments or dont but dont waste peoples time and play games.
Edited to add: this is NOT long wait times. There were three people in the lobby. People are being allowed to MAKE APPOINTMENTS and come back at a scheduled time. If all of those people had been waiting in the lobby I would have understood long wait times but they werent. People WALKING IN were denied being seen because people had called and made appointments.
Love your idea of solutions for those days but in the mean time maybe post your policies about appointment days ahead of time so people dont waste their time.
And I did reach out to the team. They said call and make an appointment ahead of time on Thursdays and every other Saturday

Excellent Doctor and very little wait time. Friendly and thorough.
