I do not recommend renting from any of Singh properties. My mother and I have a lease at Turnbury in Canton, MI. Moved in the unit in November and the issues documented on the checklist (that had to be retuned within 7 days) still isnt complete and its 3/27. Management will not interfere if your neighbor/s are causing major, ongoing noise disturbances because #27 of the lease agreement states: Owner will not be liable to Resident(s) if other Residents are excessively noisy or create other nuisances, and the Rent will not abate. It is the responsibility of Resident(s) to call the police or take other legal action to stop actions that Resident(s) considers to be nuisances by other Residents or persons living with or visiting them.
There is another section of the lease talks about quiet enjoyment but it means nothing because if #27. If you contact the Corporate office to speak with the Regional over the property, they wont talk to you and gives your message or email back to the Property Manager that cant help you because of #27 of the lease. Ive never in 20 years of working in the Apartment industry heard of anything so absurd. Save yourself the headache and thousands that you will spend living with them. Go live with a company that cares about their residents because Singh isnt it.

Cara, the Shorebrooke Manager is always professional and friendly. I recently renewed my lease. She listens to my concerns / request and responds promptly and accordingly

Apartment is ok. Not great. But paying rent is so frustrating. They make it intentionally difficult to set up an account in a timely manner, delay online payments and don't accept payments at the leasing office where we live. We have to drive 45 minutes away to pay rent.
