I almost enrolled. Please please please do your research on ITT Tech. I cannot stress how important it is that you use them as a last resort. If thats not good enough for you..call around. Ask someone if they hire students with a degree from ITT. Notice at the beginning I said I almost enrolled. Go to a community college, knock out as many classes (in your respective field) as you can, and go to a University.

Enrolled at ITT in 2009 for the visual design program and completed one year. During this year I found that ITT does not let you test out of classes. Each and every class I took was a waste of time, because I had already taken a years worth of design class at a well known Vocational School where I earned a certificate. I was forced to retake Typography and intro to Photoshop. Both of which I have already done (I have taken MANY photoshop classes). One of the teachers actually pulled me aside and told me that I would not be challenged at ITT because the Teachers get in trouble for students failing, not showing up to class, etc. (Insinuating that some teachers actually mark late/absent students present and give higher grades to appease their bosses) She told me that CCS would have been a better option because they actually challenge you and help you grow in the design field. After this experience and having a very terrible math teacher (who would speed the class along so one student could get the whole class done, he couldn't stay for the whole class each day, while myself and another student fell behind because the teacher was moving the class along while we were still completing tests/note taking) I pulled out of the school. The month I declined to renew my financial aid, I was told I needed to pay my $3,000 balance with the school IN FULL by the end of the month. There was no option for payments. Two years later, I was enlisting into the US NAVY, who wanted my transcript from ITT. ITT refused to release my transcript to the military because I had an unpaid debt. NOT THAT IT MATTERS... because if I had tried to transfer my transcript to another college, the CREDITS DONT TRANSFER ANYWAY. Don't waste your time with this piece of crap institute!!!

Do not waste your money. This school is the biggest joke. I'm over $50k in debt, I now know that 80% of the fields of work that you will study here will NOT be looking for a degree in the field and WILL want to see the work you can produce. This school will NOT teach you want you NEED to know. I went here merely for the piece of paper to say I know the information. It is a complete joke to see the people who graduated from this school and the utter lack of knowledge they have on anything they have now been "certified" in. Teachers here get paid LESS for failing students, thus EVERYONE meets the mediocre milestone. If you want a REAL education, teach yourself. The internet has millions of resources that will be much cheaper, and more effective. This school is an absolute joke, and I feel nothing but pity for those who are currently enrolled.
