      image Another nice surprise! Our go-to for Polish is the Polish Village Cafe (PVC) in Hamtramck. We've tried many other similar restaurants but have always been disappointed because they are just mediocre in comparison...until Val's! My Husband got Val's Polish combo which came with City Chicken, Stuffed Cabbage and fresh kielbasa. It also came with three pirogies and sauerkraut. Wow! It was very good. I got the potato pancake dinner and cucumbers and sour cream. Again, very delicious. At last! A good substitute that's a lot closer to our home!!!
