Excellent service and great pricing. Had an emergent situation with a broken partial. Will have it repaired and back tomorrow! New partial ordered and will have that soon. They are friendly and very accommodating.

I made an appointment because I need a gum tissue graft. Online it said on multiple different websites that Aspen Dental portage has a periodontist. Well that turned out to be a lie. I had to wait 40 mins AFTER my appointment time to even be seen and it was about 80 degrees in the waiting room. I have anxiety so I was extremely anxious this whole time and overheating. When I FINALLY saw the dentist over an hour after my appointment time he really just said oh, well Im not a periodontist. Im extremely unhappy and I will never return to such a scummy business and Ill be sure to let everyone know how awful your customer service is and that you like to completely waste peoples time and make them cry for absolutely no reason. I think the call center lady (who didnt even say portage correctly) should be fired. If she doesnt know what services the business offers she should not be scheduling DENTAL appointments. I left extremely upset and without the HELP I needed. Terrible business.

WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT GO HERE!!! This place is a full on scam and the so called dentist is just the worst.
Single worst dental experience I have ever had.
If you can look past the dirty, unkept, and unprofessional interior then I promise you still cant get past their unethical business practices and the Doctors horrible bed side manor. He is so rude and off putting that its incredibly clear where the unethical business practices come from.
I waited to write this review until I received a second opinion and that was the best decision I have ever made. Not only were my second opinion shocked by all the work this dentist said I needed, they were equally shocked to see all the random additional charges Aspen was going to charge me that was hidden in a bill that you dont get until after paying. When I left my one and only appointment with Aspen, I knew something was wrong so I called my insurance immediately and after explaining the situation to them their immediate recommendation was to cancel any and all appointments with Aspen, IMMEDIATELY. They said it all sounded fishy and to go somewhere else. HEARD.
Aspen had, instead of just charging me for one appointment that I had, or even just an upcoming one, taken four months worth of separate appointments and lumped them all together into one bill and made me pay 3k down for appointments that hadnt happened yet because it was an emergency that I get it all done immediately lumping multiple months of appointments into one bill screams insurance fraud to me but thats their scam, they tell you that you need a ton of work done and its an emergency that it has to happen right away so they dont give you time to think or get second opinions and they tell you if you dont then your tooth has to be pulled. Their entire business practice is scaring you into getting work done. They do it all so quickly that they ambush you. Its very predatory and its intentional.
I wasnt impressed with the appointment regardless, theyre awful at communicating so the dentist gave me no real information and I was clueless as to what was going on the whole time because he funneled me straight to the desk to pay, its literally the only thing he cares about. This man shouldnt be allowed to practice.
After sharing my vile experience with Aspen to other locals in the community they all echoed the same thing. They physically revolted when I said Aspen Dental and said oh no, you shouldnt go there, theyre the worst then proceeded to echo the same predatory things happening to them.
I didnt know how widely its known that Aspen is this bad because Aspen intentionally buries reviews. Aspen pays for ads to be your first search option SCROLL PAST a visit with them may lead to lifelong regret but itll definitely lead to a hefty bill with work you likely dont even need, even if they say your first visit is free.
My only takeaway- the practices that this dentist office implements were morally vile enough to myself, my insurance, and my second opinion Dentist, that I am currently working on reporting this practice to the Board of Ethics. They shouldnt be allowed to practice at all. Please, whatever you do, DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!
