This is my fav store. The one star is specifically for Mary P at twelve oaks makeup department. She was the rudest person I have ever shopped with here. And Ive shopped at this store for 15 years. It seemed like she did not want to help me at all, and I was inconveniencing her. She had an attitude towards anything I said, and it just was very rude and aggressive. I would never shop with her again. If she was the only person here to help me, I would leave and go to another store. And I have enjoyed every experience over the last 15 years until this one.

I had great expectation when I went to the Novi, MI, Nordstrom. I needed a dress for a wedding. The selection was disappointing. However, the worst part of my visit was the salesperson. She did not offer assistance when I found a single dress to try. I had to interrupt her while she had her face in her phone, to gain access to the dressing room. When I came out of the dressing room, with the dress in hand she did not acknowledge me, to ask if I wanted the dress. Instead she was chatting with a colleague, behind the counter. I had to interrupt her, yet again to ask where to hang the dress that I was no longer interested in. It was clear to me the jacket she wore with the words, "I really don't care", was more than just a fashion statement. Go to Von Maur! They provide amazing service. They ambience, selection and service is far superior.
