I'm a sleepwalker. I check into these places I my sleep. How did I drive 400 miles though? They must have good service I slept like a rock. If a rock walked around like a human.
Safety: So safe you can do it in your sleep. I did!

The towels looked clean. The people are nice enough but its just gross inside.

Hotel was great! Clean! No smell of cigarettes or cannabis despite the Las Vegas casino amount of dispensaries in the vicinity of the expressway exit. The area however was extremely sketchy looking because of the abandoned and derelict outlet mall only partially occupied by the cannabis dispensaries. It definitely needs more lighting and some work on the potholes on the road to the entrance of the hotel, and the abandoned junk cars behind the hotel. We were in town from Eastern shore, rural Maryland for a funeral and were able to eat nearby at a Cracker Barrel in that area which was fine and the area where the church is located in Monroe itself was fine, just this area near the expressway looked very abandoned, neglected and sketchy. Room great for the $87 but be prepared to put down an extra $100 deposit for a non smoking deposit, refunded within 3 days upon checkout.
Rooms: Upgraded, fridge, microwave, good beds, happy with accommodation for price.
