We hired Kim for help with our wedding and from the very beginning, it was not a great experience. She was incredibly difficult to get in contact with from the very beginning. She showed up super late to our day for set up and rehearsal and was extremely rude to every single person she spoke to. She showed up over 2 hours late to the day of my wedding so my bridesmaids and mother had to do pretty much everything she had said she was going to do (set up centerpieces/set up chairs/etc). Part of the package we paid for was for her to help with set up and tear down and she 1. Didnt do ANY set up and 2. When it came to tear down, she wanted to start clearing the tables around 7 pm (even though the wedding went until 11) because she wanted to leave early. She didnt contact ANY of my vendors to coordinate with them for the day of the wedding to ensure they knew where to set up. Literally one of my bridesmaids had to call the bakery that made our desserts to see where he was since she had not called and when asked, stated I didnt think I had to. The way she spoke to people (myself included) was absolutely horrendous, to the point where all the other vendors (catering, DJ, bartender, etc) even had issues with her. I literally cannot believe any of the good reviews she has. As a warning, DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!

Heather was super attentive and showed knowledge and patience.
Price is a higher then buying from the studio but it's a business, so it's understandable

I went to a wedding event on 10/15 2016 and it was plan by events& Moore /owner/planner Kimberly C. More She had poor service , she didn't help us with anything . She helped us on the last day of the wedding . She did not do a good job on helping us we paid her 1500 for no help . She fed us 1 hour and 45 minutes late . So if you are looking for someone please choose someone else that will give you special service .

I wish there was a no star option.If you don't have time to read, I'll get to the point here: do not book Kim Moore or anyone with Events and Moore for a wedding or any other event for that matter.For a more detailed explanation, read on.I'm an event planner, and have been for 5 years. My sister got engaged last year and I took on a lot of the planning which I was fine with doing, but with a full time job, it was getting to be a bit much so I asked my mom to book a wedding planner to help out. We gave Kim a list of things to accomplish a couple months before the wedding including: program for wedding, coasters for wedding favors, booking transportation to and from the hotels, a party bus for wedding party, runners for tables, and day of tasks. After receiving payment, Kim disappeared. We later found out that she was getting surgery and wouldn't be available for 2 weeks- a month away from the wedding.2 weeks before the wedding, nothing had been taken care of yet and it was as if we have to constantly reminder her that things needed to get done. Fast forward to the event day: The table runners didn't show up until a couple hours before the reception was to start, the coasters were delivered a day before, NO transportation was arranged for our guests (the mother of the bride was waiting at the hotel for 45 MINUTES to get picked up by a random cab she had to call herself), and the party bus for the wedding party was terrible- no a/c, no working ice machine, non working bathroom, and was double booked so our trip got cut short. Kim knew about these defects, but just left the church anyway without saying anything about the condition of the bus.Not to mention, during the reception, I was the one that had to continuously communicate with the DJ about the timing of things (dances, cutting of the cake, meal service, etc.) I looked over at Kim was just lounging in a chair in the foyer. After the reception, the cake was left and the hosts asked what they should do with it. A bridesmaid suggested that it should be packed up and stored for pick up. Kim said "That's not my responsibility."Being in event planning, I sympathize as I know that things go wrong sometimes, but it's expected to work hard to reconcile those issues. Kim was a complete disappointment.
