image Was a former CTS customer before they were bought by Metronet. The difference is night and day between the two. I was thrilled with the service/product when it was CTS, but it has gone way downhill since. I put in a move request on Dec 10th, the original appointment was cancelled so I called to find out why, no updates. Called everyday for a week...no updates. After a couple weeks was finally able to get someone to tell me they were waiting to do a bore. I said okay I can wait for that, but another week goes by and nothing...I called back today and finally got a supervisor that says the ground is too frozen and they cant get to it till April. First off, its barely been below freezing this winter, the ground is not frozen. Second, why didn't you tell me this a month ago so I could get with a new ISP? I cancelled my service this morning because we have been without internet for almost 4 weeks after the move and can no longer wait. Spectrum got me setup with internet in 2 hours. Just to make it clear, the staff on the phones are the nicest people and do what they can. They credited me the month I was without internet so I didn't lose money. However, The people that work dispatch or set up the bores need to be fired or I guarantee you lose more customers. Sucks when corporations buy out great local businesses and ruin their name. I also work for one of the largest companies in Kalamazoo, who use Metronet as their ISP. The past 3 months there has been an outage at one of our locations almost every week. Terrible company, would not recommend.
