Please be aware of the multiple special investigation reports on LARA's website showing established violations and abuse at Gilden Woods Grand Ledge. "Child Care Staff Member 1 inflicted mental and emotional punishment by yelling and swearing at the children in care. VIOLATION ESTABLISHED""Child Care Staff Member 1 did not provide appropriate care and supervision to the children in care when she handled them roughly and pulled on their arm. Ms. Riis and Ms. Zimmerman also did not provide appropriate care and supervision to the children in care by not following up on concerns brought forth regarding Child Care Staff Member 1. We really liked Gilden woods when lived in Troy. We moved over to Macomb Township and we were wondering when you were adding a 29th location over here. The other places don't compare to the service we got from Gilden woods. My son cries every morning when we take him to there place he's at now.
