Dr. Marshall has been my physician since I was in my early twenties. Ive never seen a provider take so much thought and care with patients. Shes very patient and will answer any questions you have thoughtfully or find a resource for you.
I think a lot of people are assuming that you make one appointment per year and that makes you eligible to not see her or the staff for result of bloodwork. Or refills. Youll likely not find any practice now that wont see you in person for either. I am a pharmacist and I still make my appointments as requested for anything I need. Thats why we (pharmacies) tell you when you ask us to call the doctor for you for a refill it wont work but we will try. If a doctor is doing otherwise, its honestly looked at as a little sketchy
Heather, youve always been wonderful with me and return my calls immediately. Thank you to everyone at this practice that has helped me throughout the years with SO much.

When I came in to have my doctor review with Nicole Rye, I was asked to have my blood drawn with Quest. I did, and then on 1-30-23 over a week later, I called to make my first real appointment. I did not know when my last physical was so Heather (the appointment scheduler) and I agreed I would call my last doctor to see when it was so I wouldn't be charged by insurance. She was very nice about not wanting me to be charged out of pocket.
Then she asked if I wanted to come in to have my blood results. I explained I would wait since I work, I have a co-pay and did not want to waste anyone's time if my results were normal. It didn't make sense if my results were normal. Her response: "Well, if you don't want to follow the rules then you don't need to be a patient here and can go find another doctor!
I was taken back by the sudden bipolar attitude. I asked her, "How about I schedule my physical and then have my results told to me at that time", Heather says, "There is no point for you to have a physical if you aren't going to be a patient here"! I asked how am I supposed to get my blood results? She stated I can get access through the Genesis App (I don't have that) and I can "figure out how to read them myself or have them explained when I find a new doctor".
I told her the conversation was making me very upset and the way I was being treated was uncalled for. She again said, if I didn't want to follow the rules I would not be welcome there.
What rules? All I was told when I met the doctor was patients are not allowed to discuss more than two problems in one visit, which I thought was crazy, but whatever. I did not know there was a rule that forced me to come in to get blood results! Who does that? No doctor does not tell you your results over the phone! If there was an issue with my results I would have had no problem coming in.
The way she made these statements and how she said it, the rudeness in her voice and her tone was disgusting.
So Heather, here is some customer service advice. Next time acknowledge my concern and then schedule the physical that we had originally talked about. Your poor decision and rude unethical behavior not only lost your practice, but your doctor also lost my husband and my daughters business who were all new patients for Nicole.
A doctor's office might have a great doctor but if their office staff is uncaring, argumentative, disrespectful and rude, just imagine what they are doing with your personal information. Word of mouth is the best advertising, I have already told 20 people how I was treated today and that number will grow. Everyone was shocked by Heathers behavior and it reflects poorly on this business. Heather you are welcome to call me anytime to apologize, just leave a message if I don't answer. If Mary Marshall does not see anything wrong with your behavior and action isn't taken against you, then thank you for showing me sooner than later how this practice views their patients. I always read reviews before I go to a place, hopefully this helps others when deciding who they want to put in the care of their health or their families health. This practice sees children also.
