We stayed at the Regency Hotel and suites in Ann Arbor. This is a well managed and maintained property. The room and bathroom were well appointed and spacious. A wall to wall mirror in the bathroom and a full length mirror in the room were appreciated. Both a reading chair and a table and chairs were provided. Ample and easy to access power outlets and a charging station was a plus. Three phones (including one in the bathroom), a fridge, microwave and coffee maker in our room. As well as hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Our double queen room had 10 pillows! There was a well designed pool and hot tub area as well a a game room featuring pool, foodball, hand shuffleboard and chess/checkers and a gazebo outside in the garden. The staff was friendly and did their best to make us feel like a valued guest. The breakfast was one of the best on our trip featuring scrambled eggs and sausages and country fries. Fresh fruit and fresh doughnuts were a surprise. Carol who manned the breakfast nook did an amazing job of managing the food, making sure that everyone got enough, right up to the last minute. (Some places tends to shut down 15 to 20 minutes before the end of the hour). When coming to Ann Arbor, This is the place to stay. I wish all our hotels on this trip were as nice. We will definitely stay here again.

I rented a townhome from one of their locations, (South Glen Apartments in Brownstown, Michigan), and this is the review I gave them:
"This location is TERRIBLE to live! The community and manager make you feel like you are constantly being watched and forced to hide behind closed blinds. They say you're allowed a dog but should the dog bark once at a stranger coming to your door, like any dog might, you're drowned in noise complaints with threats of eviction.
We moved in and piece by piece the place fell apart, door knobs falling off, a door came off it's hinges and the water was run backwards in the basement and started leaking! Did they want to help? No, they just wanted to vilanize us from day one to appease a single unknown tenant, how convenient right? Which there is also no record, anonymous or not, that is able to be reviewed.
I never even felt comfortable using the public pool at this location for fear of falling under the hateful eye of the manager, Tim, who even screamed at my GUEST who took my dog for a walk after having a supposed "peaceful" discussion to solve the problems he presented. He came back to reiterate the same problems that we had eradicated except for my dog, who in fact is my Emotional support dog that helps me battle against depression as I'm nearly six months pregnant and cannot take medication. She is protected by the Federal Government but that didn't matter to him, not at all, throwing hateful comments about buying the license online. I was hoping to make this place a home for my family new and old but now in my condition I have to find a new location to live simply because I do not feel safe.
We were never late with our rent, never bothered the neighbors, never had more than two people over at a time even just so the neighbors didn't have to deal with excess noise.
Whatever you do, don't move in here. You will find no peace and no sense of home. Look elsewhere and warn your friends."
We're not the first to complain against the manager named Tim but as this company has no way to contact or a listed complaint department I have no choice but to leave this here. Handle your properties!
