I have spent almost two weeks trying to ascertain who I need to send specific files to at eCW for a project. I have spoken with at least half a dozen technicians who all have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about, don't return calls or emails, and forward the questions and Emails I have to someone else when they don't know the answer. This entire experience has been INCREDIBLY frustrating and unprofessional and has been compounded by the fact that the eCW technicians I've spoken with are either entirely unfamiliar or don't understand the technically terminology regarding my request. It has also caused multiple parties involved to lose very, very valuable time on a time-sensitive project.

The software and the eCW team may be the most disjointed organization I've ever partnered with.

I wish I could give them a zero star. I’ve been in practice 9 years and have never encountered a more disjointed and outdated software in my career. They oversell and underdeliver. Once their sales people lure you in, they do not have appointments for training for months and when you have an issue, you are told to “open a ticket” and wait forever. Be prepared (if you make the mistake to go with them) for fake lip service from everyone involved. After 6 months of crashing data and unreliable software, I gave up and asked to cancel the service. A lot of back and forth later, they sent a bill of $10,000 (no kidding) to cover “their cost” of training me and my MA (2 people, single office, new clinic, no data transfer). They threatened to sue me and had collectors and their legal counsel call my office, send emails. I got my lawyer involved and filed a counter lawsuit for lost time, wages, stress and retraining with another EMR (PracticeFusion). Let’s see what happens as we are still fighting these bullies. They should be ashamed of their service and modus operandi. Their higher ups should resign for the joke they call eCW. All providers reading this: “beware” is all I’d say.
