went in with sore calf.. just checking for blood clot.. no one in emergency area, got right in,signed in and brought to a emergency room within minutes.. low & behold I sat in there for 5 hours.. waiting for ultra sound.. after 2 hours saw someone they said ultra sound might be 1-1.30pm.. 2 pm rolls around and nurse comes in and says, oh..it might now be 3.30 pm.. I wasn't spending my whole dam day in emergency room!!! so now I was seeing red !!! if its an emergency room, why do they even call it emergency room.... everything is done at a snails pace.. God for bid if I did have clot and traveled..oh well see how much the health care system does for you .. nothing..! right now I'd have less stress being dead than waiting in a cold room for hours with nothing being done... I'm just so appalled and disgusted as to how this whole health care system is runned and treats people... maybe they are better off closing.....

This hospital is horrible.
Ive asked for my mom to be transferred to another hospital and they refuse. Saying that there are no beds. I told them ANY OTHER hospital Id be ok with a that I just wanted her out of Morton. Still nothing. I ask to talk to patient advocate and the nurse told me she didnt have the number and when I asked if she could get it she said no.
What kind of hospital are these people running!
