Listen to the many bad reviews! This place is not close to being worth the price of the apartments. Honestly the apartment alone isnt worth it, but management makes it unbearable. The kitchens are so small, ours doesnt even have one drawer! The bathroom is also so small and had so many problems on move in. Our fan is so gross and when we turn it on debri falls down. The tub wall wasnt glued down so it wobbled. Maintenance vacuumed it the fan but of corse that didnt help. It also smells like weed if we leave the bathroom door shut. The walls are so thin so we can hear and smell everything. Now they are telling us our outdoor couch that weve had for months is a lease violation. There are other apartments with actual couches on their balconies that have been there since we moved in. When you try to reach out to them they just dont respond and our water bill is so high! Because of a leak that wasnt our fault. But we have to pay for it? Wish our lease ended sooner. Never again.

Great Experience staying here, would highly recommend this place to friends and family.
They have a great team to manage the apartments.

The apartments have been refurbished, yet they retain an old, unpleasant odor. Additionally, accessing the bathroom through the bedroom is inconvenient. The hallway smells terribly of cigarette smoke and marijuana, causing discomfort.

I've lived here for almost 6 years. Have been through three different management companies. Some of the changes like the new electronic locks, new AC/Heatings units are great. The maintenance team has always been very good based on my experience. I've not had an issue with bad service. The last 6 months some of my long time neighbors have left due to problems. It feels like UDR doesn't really care as much about their community as long as they get their money.Lots of new people have little regards for the property, the rules, and their neighbors. Seen a lot more police activity also. It doesn't feel as safe as it did a year ago. Undecided if me and my family will continue to rent when it's time to renew unless things improve. At this point, I don't recommend renting here.
Update: Stay away unless you want to live in the projects or the ghetto, it's gotten that bad since they started to allow low-income folks to move in. The place is dirty, loud, smells like pot all the time and people have absolutely no regards for their neighbors. Kids run around without supervision leaving trash everywhere. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they are helping people that need help but that also brings a very unsafe element which is the case here now. Police should be patrolling constantly. This is not the great place to live it once was. Look elsewhere as I will do the same.
Update Mar 2023: Absolutely stay away from this place. Management cares little about anything but getting your money. They do a poor job making sure decent folks move into the complex. If I could give zero stars I would.
Update April 2023: People drive well over the 10 MPH speed limit (basically the whole property is a 10 MPH zone), especially in the morning when there are around a 100 kids waiting for the school bus. People don't stop for the special needs vans at all, it's super dangerous and nothing is really done. All Management does is send emails, if they send emails and I guarantee you most people don't even read them so it's a wasted exercise. Of course, you get the excuse there is little they can do when it really is they don't want to do anything. I hope it doesn't take some kid getting killed for these people to get it. Just another example of what to expect at this complex.
Update April 2024: No changes from my last review from April 2023. If anything is worse, we see a lot more police than ever before. I'm on my last lease.

I have lived here many many years. I watched the community be clean and livable. I recently had to relocate. The community when I left was loud, dirty, trash everywhere. You can't even enjoy your patio. Cars going by with loud rap music. Kids yelling and screaming using horrible language. There are fights and the police are always around. It's become a complete ghetto now. It's very unsafe. Many people with housing and roudy punk kids live here. Can't even go for a nice walk unless you want to smell cigarettes and or weed all over the place. So much for that smoke free community. Like there is a such thing. And walk over all the litter. Then there are the roaches. Ahh yes because your neighbors are not clean. There will be more than one family living in a two bedroom apartment. Unfortunately a great place has been left to just become a horrible place. Very sad.
