Easy check in. It's a room to stay in. The walls are paper thin you can hear conversations in the hall. They serve a continental breakfast. There is an Indian restaurant on the premises. The food was good. No complaints from me.

I have never been to the Berkshires; I wanted something with a water view and close to everything. I went online and saw the great reviews, so thought I would try it out. My husband and I went in December, and we were very impressed by how clean, and quaint this hotel was. The staff was very friendly and nice. The location and price were great. Michelle at the front desk was outstanding and so nice. She was so sweet and gave us tips. She went above and beyond to ensure that we had a comfortable stay and wonderful time while we were there.
I would recommend staying on the second floor with a lake view. Laurel Lake is beautiful even in the winter. The room we got was spacious, having the balcony is a nice perk. We loved having a couch in our room. The beds were extremely comfortable. The coffee/tea machine near the breakfast that was available 24 hours was a very nice touch. The breakfast was good. I loved it had a view of the lake.
I returned with a friend this past week, and my friend loved it. We stayed on the first floor, but not with a lake view. The room was nice and clean. We tried the Mint restaurant on site after a long day. Michelle again helped us out and gave us some recommendations what she liked. It is nice to have someone at the front desk be so caring and helpful. The food at the Mint restaurant on site was outstanding! Her recommendations were spot on and so delicious! The view of the lake, and atmosphere was so relaxing. The staff at the Mint restaurant were fabulous. I would HIGHLY recommend going to the hotel and restaurant. I will certainly be returning.
