I'd like to thank Liz Bolton for her help over the years with all of our real estate transactions. Liz sprung into action to help us quickly evaluate and advise on an offer we were making on an adorable house in Cambridge. With her help we were able to secure the new property in a very hot market. Liz then helped us market our condo. We had an offer before the first open house!
Liz has taken the time to listen to our needs and concerns. She has continued to stay in touch over the years, checking in on our home improvements and making sure we were up to date on the market in Cambridge.

Liz helped my wife and I buy a wonderful home in Teele Sq in Somerville. I would highly recommend Liz to anyone looking to buy a home in Boston/Somerville/Cambridge area. Her knowledge of this area is amazing and deep. She showed us squares and neighborhoods that we didn't even know where there, and she could give us the run down of each neighborhood's charm.
Liz took the time to get to know us first and you could tell that every house she showed us she used to calibrate just what we were looking for. Sometimes I think she knew before my wife and I even knew what we were looking for. No showing was wasted, and even if we didn't put an offer on a property we were always happy we made the time to look. She encouraged us to keep an open mind about properties and areas, which I appreciated because though I had no intention of moving to certain towns seeing what was available and at what cost (including things like tax) helped solidify the decisions we were making. She never pushed properties on us, and even though it took us a while to finally start making offers she never seemed annoyed or bothered by the length of time we were taking.
Liz worked with us for several months and helped us navigate a particularly difficult sellers market. Properties were going fast, and we found ourselves a couple of weekends in a row putting offers on places only to be outbid. We may have been discouraged, but Liz wasn't. She worked with us each time to ensure that our offers would be filed on time and worked with our schedule when needed. Finally we found the perfect combination of property, location and price. We ended up being one of two top bids for our house. It was the work that Liz did behind the scenes and her reputation that ultimately landed us the house. The Seller's Realtor mentioned to us twice (at the inspection and at closing) that one of the primary reasons we won the bid was because of Liz and her reputation.
Even after our offer was accepted we ran into troubles when the condo association wouldn't approve our dog. Liz worked out a plan and we were able to convince the association, with a personal interview, to accept our dog.
If you are looking to move to Boston, Cambridge, or Somerville I cannot recommend her highly enough. You will be very happy you chose her.

We house-shopped with Liz in Fall-Winter 2009, and closed on a house in early 2010. She is THE BEST. She was extremely patient, friendly, and helpful from Day 1, even though we told her we just wanted to start browsing and didn't plan to buy for a year or so. She found listings that were just what we were looking for, didn't try to push us into a higher price range, and she let our dog come to her office for our meetings. :)
We ended up buying much more quickly that we expected, but Liz never pressured us. In fact, when we were seriously considering buying our house, we had to explicitly ask Liz if there was something she didn't like about it, because she was so relaxed and NOT pressuring us. We bought that house, 4.5 years ago now. We love it; everything worked out great.
Can't say enough good things about Liz. Absolutely the best real estate agent we could have ever imagined. :)
