Owner is bad at customer service. I asked if he knew how much the plantains were and he told me he doesn't know then he said that I should know. There was also a time where I got there a few min before they closeand the door was locked. Kept knocking on door but I was being ignored. I'm not one to take disrespectful behaviour very lightly. Also their rice is never fully cooked. I've been to better Latin restaurants. This one is trash

TLDR: The food was better than some "fine dining" I've had, but its a totally humble family diner.
My God, the food. I personally tried the yucca con chicharron, masitas de puerco, lomo saltado, and a piece of tres leches, and can vouch for them all. The masitas de puerco was absolutely my favorite; the pork was so tender and the sauce was crazy savory. Truly I can't remember the last time I had something so good. If you are a fan of onions or pork I cannot recommend it enough.
The staff was polite, attentive, and accommodating.
I will say it is a bit small/there's not a lot of seating. We came after peak dinner hours (8pm) when it wasn't full, but if all the tables were full I could see it being a bit crowded and chaotic. Would be totally worth it in my opinion, but if that's not for you, just come later like we did.
