      image I called Beltway Garage Doors when the spring on my door broke. I was a repeat customer as I was satisfied with their work when they replace my door spring 8 or 9 years ago. The technician who showed up told me he wouldn’t charge me to get my car out of the garage if I’d work with them to fix the spring. He told me that, due to Covid, springs were back ordered and would be 4 - 12 and he quoted me a price that was 2x the price I’d paid 9 years prior. I agreed asking that he assure me that it was a fair price. He looked me in the eye and said it was. It took me 1 phone call to find someone to fix my door 2 days later at half the price.
      To their credit, they refunded my down payment minus the charge for the visit to get my car out. But save yourself the trouble and call someone else.
