Way overpriced subs that were not worthy of another visit here. Lady behind counter was friendly.

Since they got purchased, it's just not good. I saw a sign out early in the new ownership that was something like 'Still Freddie's!'. Yeah, no, it isn't. The subs were awful. Like not made the same way at all. I usually get a turkey sub from Freddie's and instead of a large pile of chipped turkey I got a couple slices of just medium sliced turkey, terrible. And at least the last few times I stopped they didn't have soup. Freddie's without crab soup? Absurd.

We used to go to Freddie's all the time when they owned their own location. After they moved to this gas station (or sold their name to new owners) the place has gone downhill. The quality and taste of their food is no longer even close to what it once was. We have only eaten once at the gas station and never plan on coming back. To put things in perspective. For gas station food, it is pretty good compared to the typical gas station hotdog that has sat on the warmer all day. However, if you go across the street to Sheetz you can get subs half the cost that tastes way better.

I am in my mid 40's, and I have been going to Freddies Subs since I was a little girl. Even with the main locations closing, and the only option of getting a Freddies sub was from one of two convenience stores, I could always count on a ham and cheese sub being exactly how I always remembered them to be... until today. I went to the Freddies Subs today that is located inside of the Liberty convenience store on Sharpsburg Pike in Hagerstown. I purchased 3 subs. 2 ham and cheese, and 1 cold cut. The ham and cheese subs used to come with a heaping pile of thinly shaved ham. That is no longer the case. What you will get now if you order a ham and cheese sub is 3 massively thick slices of the same type of ham that you would cook for Easter dinner. It was NOT appealing at all. I was so disappointed. Aside from this location now serving Easter ham, I spent $35 for 3 6 inch subs!! I truly hope that the Dual Highway location Freddies is still the same as it used to be, because I can not imagine never having a Freddies ham and cheese sub again!
