Thieves. They didn't process my score transfer that I made with my initial application so now I'm paying $35 to get it done after wondering why it was taking so long.

We are sorry you feel this way about your experience. Our records show that you did not order a score transfer with your exam application, but ordered it after you received your exam results. Once ordered state transfers are sent within 24 hours electronically to the state board.

AOTA was much better at more efficiently completing renewal for OT and COTAs. NCBOT does not provide what AOTA always provided: national advocacy for OT at state and National Government Levels, consistent updated studies, research that impacted OT clinical knowledge shared with a monthly magazine, cost effective renewal policies, CEU requirements that align with OT and COTAs current state licensure board. No translating CEUS INTO PDUS!! Mandatory Membership in NCBOT is expensive and Ive had to at times, not renew with AOTA, because my NBCOT had lapsed. I could not afford both as an OT and full time Mom and full time employee. Not all companies or states used to require NBCOT membership. NBCOT has taken on the governing rules for OT to practice; while providing very little in return for those of us still practicing . It is a shame
