I ordered cabinets through Mike at cabinet discounters in Gaithersburg and was tremendously impressed with the high level of detail and customer service received from our first conversation. Throughout the measurement, design, and ordering process, Mike's diligence and responsiveness has been first rate. The quote for cabinets was also significantly more affordable than another vendor I had explored using and helped our project stay within budget.
Mike was also very understanding when we experienced a change of plans related to our countertop order and worked with me to resolve the issue with minimal heartburn.

My wife and I wanted to renovate our condominium kitchen. We had no renovation experience. Through a Next Door recommendation we contacted Mike Bliss at Cabinet Discounters in Gaithersburg. Mike worked with us to create a design plan and select complementary cabinets, countertop, backsplash, flooring, and kitchen fixtures. He also arranged for Cabinet Discounters contractors to do the work. Execution was excellent: each contractorplumber, electrician, carpenter, tile installer, floorer, countertop fabricator/ installerappeared per scheduled appointment, was friendly and completed the work in a timely manner.
The Cabinet Discounters installation department, Miranda Schaefer in particular, kept in touch with us throughout the process, solved a few minor issues and provided an online work calendar and portal.

I used Mike Bliss at Cabinet Discounters to design and order kitchen cabinets. After working with a custom cabinet maker and realizing the exorbitant cost of cabinets, I went to Mike based on a referral and he was able to help me use stock cabinets at a fraction of the price. Further, the cabinets were lovely and even when one arrived damaged (to no fault of Cabinet Discounters), Mike did everything to make sure that it was replaced quickly and efficiently.
