I just got out today, and I'm gonna say they gave me better help than the last place I was at. I dont think their the best in the world, but their not the worst. The staff were a little bit annoying, but other than that. No bad thoughts for them.

Spring harbor facility fails to keep their patients safe. They fail to upkeep safety protocols, such as locking the kitchen door. A safety measure they failed and one of the major mistakes that cost my brothers life.
My brother committed suicide in their hospital kitchen. Took his life while under supervision that was supposed to protect him. My family is broken because of this. How does one kill themselves in the very place where theyre guaranteed safety. Dont send your family members or anyone who needs help to spring harbor. #justiceforeric

I was put here in the 5th grade tour place is supposed to help people it didn't help me iv never seen a hospital as bad as yours I was treated like I was nothing there your place is disgusting the tables are covered in gum under them one of ur staff watched me shower for crists sake I'm now older and realize how bad it was I hope that anybody who has to go here doesn't go through the same thing as me and I'd like to say the first day I was there some kid TRYED to attack me you treat kids like there not people I will never recover from that trauma

I stayed here in February of 2020 for about a week, and its taken until now for me to have the courage to write a review. My experience here was awful. Some of the nurses and technicians were nice, but the doctors were horrid. They made me feel unvalued and like a mental patient rather than an actual person. The communication between the doctors and me was basically non-existent. They wouldnt say much to me and answer my questions and wouldnt show any respect to me. This place literally felt like a prison. The outpatient services mental health classes thing in Biddeford across from Rileys Bakery did way more for me. I got literally NOTHING out of Spring Harbor. If I knew how bad it would have been, I would have stayed in the emergency room. Spring Harbor was a horrible experience that just made my mental health worse and intensified my PTSD. This place was awful, and I can only hope that things have improved since my forced stay here. If I could rate lower than one star, I would.

This place was great! Except for that one tech guy who just wouldn't stop with the apples. He filled socks up and threw them at me but other than that, 10/10 would recommend to my whole family
