The unkind comments here about the hostess are all true. I've been coming to Lord's for almost as many years as she has been the hostess and although she's never been ugly to me, I've seen her in action with other customers. She MUST be the owner - either that or she's got Polaroids.......... I'd love to see that TV restaurant program go to this restaurant and straighten her out.

STAY AWAY! No matter what you've read or heard, on principle alone, you should NOT patronize this place. The owner is a lobster Nazi! Her attitude is that she knows there's always another customer, so what the heck...might as well treat you like a sub-human.....I guess that works for her.....until there are no more customers. ...so why not help fulfill her self-fulfilling prophecy! Remember, it's Maine, there are plenty of other places to eat lobster!!!
