image My husband and I had the privilege of staying in the Inn a few times and gifted our adult children with stays at the Inn as well. No one had a bad word to say, or frankly, even constructive feedback to share as each detail of our stays were so well thought out and executed perfectly and, seemingly, without effort. That is how great Inns operate - one is to have NO idea of the amount of work & effort put forth on your behalf. This past week was no exception. I stayed at the Inn with two friends from elementary school. The owners, the Salmons, were not there. Instead they left the care of their guests in the capable hands of Megan Bruns and her staff. Once again, everything was extraordinary! Megan made us so welcome we truly felt like family. I am sad to report that the staff was not treated with the respect due them and they took the brunt of this “post-pandemic” stress from other guests. I know it has been a very difficult year & a half, with more to come, but it does not give one license or permission to treat people who are serving you, and your needs, like they are “less than” you. Michael and Mary Jo, you can be proud of the way the staff represented your business. I also took home a copy of Michael Salmon’s new book, “In The Kitchen with Michael Salmon”. It is fabulous and many recipes even simple enough that I can prepare them. Hint: the Baked Brie with Hazlenuts & Frangelico is DIVINE!! This cookbook is a must have!

image Had a lovely 2 day stay at Hartstone Inn. Food was spectacular and the staff was great. The Beds and pillows were the best I have ever come across at any hotel or Inn.

image We enjoyed our stay at the Hartstone Inn, so much in fact, that we will have a hard time staying at other bed and breakfasts! The staff was so friendly, the room was comfortable, and the food was AMAZING. I am gluten free, so I expected boring, bland food. Instead, I had the most delicious meals that were completely gluten-free. We loved our time in Camden, and especially our time at The Hartstone Inn.

image Really is a great place, the rooms and their theme's are great and everyone was very welcoming and helpful. There's easy parking and plenty of places to check out nearby.
