This hotel is in a prime place in Bangor almost accessible to every place. But the service was not at all good.
The room which we were in was not regularly maintained. There was lot of hair on the bed and all around the room. The bathroom was not well cleaned and there was no hot water running from shower. We had to manage with cold water which was uncomfortable
Upon requesting night receptionist, we received new blankets that we had to spread on bed ourselves, no one was assigned to service our room in spite of raising concerns
On a whole not a pleasant stay for us here.

Extremely rude customer service. The female front desk attendant gave contradictory and nonsensical information regarding credit card procedure and was extremely difficult, presumptuous and unfriendly. This was totally unexpected after meeting so many congenial and warm people while traveling in the state of Maine, and certainly the last thing I needed after a long night of driving. Cops were also in parking lot at 8 am when I pulled in and other unsavory characters were smoking around the building--this should have been the first red flag. The place is dingy and old at any rate. I'd rather spend my money elsewhere.

Checked in on time....was told I canceled my reservation which was not true...so then I asked if I could rebook with a military discount and was told "no because you booked online."...very unfriendly shift manager then threw up her hands and said "just give it to them.." as she then proceeded to talk about my husband and I to other staff...we went to our room and promptly checked out as the room was tiny and very dark and dingy in appearance..tried to charge us over $100 for a less than satisfactory room which included a $20 dog upcharge...other hotels in the area charged $10 for a dog..would not recommend this hotel for their shabby treatment of two military vets who were nothing but polite but ended up leaving very disgruntled. Went to the Howard Johnson across the street and found a large, comfortable, clean room for less and with a very welcoming front desk reception.

Hospitality was horrid and was charged extra 50 bucks for smoking in a room that was not smoked in... They could not have missed the lady with no legs rolling back and forth for 2 nights I suppose.... Maybe they should check their cameras however overcharging by saying I smoked in a room after I complained that the room I was supposed to be getting was wheelchair friendly and I couldn't get my chair into the bathroom at all wasn't enough humiliation so ripping me off was what they decided to do....

Very dissatisfied with the experience. The hotel room was small and very out dated. We scheduled a shuttle service for 4:15 AM (They had to call a cab for us because there shuttles do not run that early) Went down to the front desk around 4:10 AM to find out that they could not get us a cab because the roads were to icy. The lady at the front desk told us that we would have to take our own vehicle to the airport and park there. My husband went out, warmed our vehicle up and drove around front. At that point, it was around 4:35 AM. The lady at the front desk was finally able to reach a cab company. My husband re-parked the car and we waited for the cab. (Our trip was for 12 days so that's would have been a lot of airport parking expense and completely cancels out the entire reason we used park sleep and fly). Unfortunately, we will reluctantly stay at this hotel upon our return. Really don't want to but will since we are already booked through then end and our vehicle is parked there. Guess we will stay someplace we don't want to. I do not recommend this place to anyone that has an early flight out of Bangor.
