Very unprofessional and cold during a challenging time in my life. I wouldnt recommend this office for menopausal support. I was treated like a number and disregarded after he performed my hysterectomy.

I rarely write reviews but I absolutely love Dr. Benoit and hes worth writing one. What a treasure of a man and a clinician who practices with excellence. He was an answer to much prayer. I am an occupational therapist, so to me a client-centered approach, compassion and patient education are top priority.
Rewind to Nov. 2021 in Florida, I had a traumatic birth with my first child which unfortunately ended in C-section. Following the surgery I had excruciating pain that was left unaddressed each time I spoke to the surgeons at that practice in Orlando I became depressed and anxious because I didnt have answers and no hope of finding any. In January 2021 I moved back to Maine. The pain diminished over time but at times it was so bad. My sister and mother couldnt say enough good things about Dr. Benoit. I obviously trust their judgement and when I finally went to see him he was so wonderful. He discovered what was wrong and he performed a surgery to bring order back to my body. He was quite literally the hands and feet of God and blessed me so much by caring about me as a human. He listened to every concern. And let me tell you I had a lot. He didnt poopoo them even if they sounded weird. No. Instead he saw someone who had been through something traumatic and was anxious because of it. He is extremely patient and gentle and my only disappointment is that he wont be practicing forever. He is extremely knowledgeable. I like him as a person too. When I went into the OR, right before they put me under he held my hand and it made me feel so cared for that I had tears in my eyes. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Benoit.
