Olde Towne Tavern

Oh, well bless your little heart. So you expect people to believe that in 2024 that black men go into bars (specifically OTT) and for no reason other than being black, get singled out and asked to leave the premises because...you know....muh racism. That's your story or his, I guess. No one who actually frequents OTT is ever going to believe that. You clearly don't ever go to OTT or Olde Towne in general. If you did you would see that OTT is and has been one of the busiest bars in not only Olde Towne, but our sales are usually top 5 on the entire North Shore. If you had ever been here you would also note that the people who frequent OTT are younger (25-35 is the core group) and literally the most diverse group of patrons in all of Slidell if not the whole North Shore. Every age, race, sexual preference, etc. is welcomed here which is why OTT has been more successful than I ever dreamed it would be.That being said, OTT is not Walmart where the customer is always right. It is a drinking establishment that has rules. Those rules are there to protect our patrons (almost all of whom are locals from the surrounding areas) from people who sometimes have too much to drink and become a problem. Our security personnel are there to protect everyone, even the problem people.As far as your "buddy" is concerned, if it's the guy who got arrested that night, his beef is with SPD. They arrested him after he was so obnoxious his UBER refused to take him home and he started cursing the cops. Good luck with that court date, it has nothing to do with us.As far as what is in store for this place in the future. The answer is undoubtedly continued success my friend. Last weekend we had a packed house and guess who showed up...black people. Lots of them...and guess what? They had a great time and they will likely be back this weekend and the weekend after that. January is typically the slowest month of the year, so it looks like this year will be another great year. Like or not I've been here for 21 years and I see nothing but success in the future for myself and my staff. My bartenders and security are some of the best in the business and I am lucky to have such a great crew. I will not reply to your ignorance again. You clearly never frequent my great establishment.

Nice try jacka$$. The security guy that you think is racist grew up in the black community and currently lives in a primarily black neighborhood. What really happened was when you walked in you were told that you couldn't wear your silly little sunglasses in the bar. (There are two reasons why we have that rule 1. It's not safe to walk around the darker areas of the bar with your vision impaired 2. You look like a fkn idiot.) You didn't say anything about eye surgeries at the door. You went straight to the bathroom and started primping in the mirror. In the mean time you made up your silly little story about eye surgeries and proceeded to try to go over securities head and ask for me or the manager. It is true that neither of us were there. Now you want to act like you have been discriminated against...boo fkn hooo, poor baby. This how we are going to do this chump. If you return to Tavern, you are not now, nor will you ever be allowed on the premises again. If you remain in town for the weekend you will quickly find out that OTT is a very popular place and our crowd is the most diverse in the City of Slidell. Your local friends, if you have any, will likely visit at some point this weekend and you can't because you are banned from the premises. Have a nice life loser.
