Had my vehicle serviced here multiple times. Always friendly people and great customer service.

I hate to put a good review because then it will be that much harder to get in when I need to. But, the best mechanic that I have ever dealt with and his shop is just a few minutes away from our house. He just repaired our old 2006 Lexus RX330 with 212,000 miles to keep it going for another 100,000 miles at least.

Ronnie came recommended from my father years ago and this is our go-to spot for car maintenance on the NorthShore. He might be the only guy I trust in the car business on the NorthShore. He and his wife are super responsive and friendly and most importantly, honest. I wasnt upsold or pushed into a higher bill with car issues that werent necessary. We will be back!

I didn't actually bring my boss's vehicle in (yet, maybe). I spoke to Ronnie, he answered the phone. He spent about 10-15 minutes with me on the phone. Listening to me over explain and ramble (it's a bad habit). He didn't rush me nor make me feel like an idiot for womansplaining. He asked detailed questions about past work on the vehicle in question. He gave me warnings about possible/almost definite future problems that would likely occur once my current problem was fixed. He explained why most shops wouldn't want to fix it due to the gasket/seal domino effect (my understanding of what he was explaining). He offered for me to bring it in and he would give me an answer as to fixing it or not. But instead of having me bring it in and then him deciding he wouldn't do it, causing me to scramble on figuring out somewhere else to bring it without damaging it further or having to pay 100$ extra on a tow to another shop, he was honest telling me it is not a guarantee he can do it. Most mechanics will tell you bring it in we will fix it (like Firestone just did to us, knowing the amount of miles and then telling us no oil leak fixes on 110k+. why do that?). Then he went on to chat with me about a completely different subject. Recommending to me a make of a car for my personal use for my soon purchase. I have called 10 mechanics thus far, the only other shop that was as kind, courteous, and helpful was Christian Brothers. I would prefer to support local shops with deep roots in the community, but I don't think that's an option. SADLY!!!
but anyways, once again I am detailing too much. The con of the being detail oriented. I would absolutely recommend anybody that has any type of issue to call and ask just basic questions, and bring their vehicles in if he suggests they should. I don't really ever get this type of help, not trying to pull a gender card but I am a woman and most women are absolutely ignorant to the trade. he did not make me feel that way at all, I actually know a little bit and he let me go on... just listening. (I don't blame most mechanifs for their reaction to women, it's well understood the frustration)
anyways, this was long enough and detailed enough for anyone who is considering to go here. I couldn't recommend at least inquiring enough!!!!
