This review is about a year overdue. The team at Suit Up deserve far more than 5 stars.
I proposed to my now wife in September of 2022 and immediately started looking for a suite. I knew exactly what I wanted and went to Suit Up. They didn't have anything yet, but they took my info and said they'd keep an eye out for the Spring catalogue.
So, I went online which was a horrible experience. Not only was I sent something that wasn't the color I ordered, when I sent it back in a box which had only ever been opened, never emptied, I was given a partial refund. I started to lose hope and planned for something else.
Then Olivia sent me a picture and I knew I was wrong to doubt Suit Up. It was perfect. Exactly the right color, usable year-round yet classy enough for extra special occasions. I knew this was the right one. And my groomsmen agreed, fawning over the uniqueness of a purple suit that didn't feel gaudy. With Olivia, Marcus, and I forget their names but the two lovely Black ladies (please give me their names so I can update) at Suit Up, we found the perfect combination, calling in favors and getting products ordered so that we had plenty of time to correct any errors that might pop up...and none did.
This whole process was incredible. I already knew I didn't want to buy a suit from anywhere else ever again and this experience solidified that. I cannot stress enough that the team at Suit Up treats you like family. I'd moved away and hadn't seen Marcus since 2017, yet he remembered me and my friends five years later. And because of that, my wedding experience was perfect and I was able to give my shy, introverted wife the greatest wedding gift, a peacock groom who managed to take just a bit of the attention off of her to calm her nerves.
Of course, then she decided to change into a rhinestone pantsuit for the reception so...oh well.
Olivia, you did a fantastic job with communication. I never worried once while we were working together and that's invaluable in wedding prep. From shipping the groomsmen suits to my guys, to helping with getting the perfect shoes and belt, to taking extra care to make sure every piece fit perfectly, I cannot praise you highly enough.
Marcus, you've spent so much time building an amazing company and building an incredible team. It shows. You should be proud of every single one of them.
And to the other ladies who helped, even though it was just a bit, thank you so much for everything you did.
