Great dentist. The staff is very nice, and I've always received great service. Been using Henry Dental for many years.

I have been going to Dr. Henry for over 10year, as a matter of fact I came to him because he fixed a botched dentist job I had gotten previously. I will say that he is a good dentist and I really like him, but his staff leaves something to be desired. The last time I went in for a cavity and the staff filled my tooth, they did not get my bite right and still did not fix it when I went back in complaining with jaw pain. I ended up having my chiropractor fix my jaw because I couldn't even open it without first pushing in on it. I had never suffered from tmj prior to this dental visit. Then the most recent was another filling. The first girl that filled my tooth left a very visible hole in my tooth with no filling. I realized this the next day and called for an appointment. They got me in the next week. This different girl asked me which tooth it was...I pointed to the tooth (not using a mirror mind you) and she went to work on it. I have extremely sensitive teeth so when you don't numb it and blow air on them it hurts. She kept telling me I have to relax my jaw and I tried but it hurt so much. Then told me to keep my tongue over or it will get caught in the drill. Not very nice about it and not a good experience... She finished and sent me out. When I got in my car I looked at my tooth and the hole was still there! I called and told them and she brought me back in. I showed her the hole and she said oh well you pointed to the side of your tooth! I asked her if I had a hole there too?! She said no, she just smoothed it out on the side! what the heck!? I came in for a hole that they had not filled and she went to work on a tooth without even seeing the issue?! Anyway she brought me back and seemed like I was annoying her. She rushed through the actual problem. Did not put glasses on me even though she had to use the drill so I just shut my eyes. She also did not clean out the hole with the sour stuff like she did the first time..she just dried it and put filling in it. I am afraid there might be bacteria trapped in there now. The thing that bothered me about Dr. Henry is that he does not inspect the work of these girls prior to the patients leaving. Did I mention I have an implant that I got there that still has the rod exposed above the gum line?! Needless to say I scheduled an appointment with someone else today...I just don't trust them anymore and it makes me sad because I have been going there for so long. He used to have quality help, but from my experience, he doesn't anymore.
