image Added 1/4/24: Turns out I have rheumatoid arthritis. If you need a GOOD hand clinic go to UK Hand Clinic at Turfland.
Original review 3/23: Looked me dead in my face and told me nothing was wrong with my hand when you can physically see and feel a mass in-between my knuckles. Then told me I could seek a second opinion when I asked them to explain what we could see and feel on my hand. They do not care about their patients. It's all about money and insurance for them. I wouldn't take my dog here.

image Margaret Napolitano, MD is a friendly, knowledgeable hand surgeon who exhibits true concern and compassion during the office visit. I feel very comfortable talking with Dr. Napolitano as she truly listens and answers any questions I may have during my visit. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Napolitano to anyone needing an excellent hand surgeon. The staff at Kleinert-Kutz at the Fountain Court facility are very respectful and pleasant.

image Office staff was very kind and personable!
Took me a month after my injury to get in to see the specialist here. The doctor identified an infection in my hand and indicated that my bone was eroding. Set an MRI for 21 days out. After a week or so, I became more concerned about my hand/whether Id be able to keep my finger, so I called the office and asked if I should be getting antibiotics. She said no, not until after my MRI.. She was not at all concerned with my infection worsening or taking my finger lol. With my hand, visibly becoming worse, I worried about the potential for sepsis and/or nerve damage, so I went to the local ER (being advised by a local ER doctor- family friend). They performed an MRI, immediately, found evidence of sepsis and osteomyelitis, then transferred me to another hospital for immediate surgery, to save my finger. 12 hours on vancomycin, 7 days on daptomycin, another 6 wks on at-home dapto through a picc line/6 wks of weekly labs an hour away from my home to monitor the infection.
The first x-ray was taken by kleinert and kutz.. Showing 40% of my joint eroded in one month, per the doctors commentary. Despite that, she was still comfortable, holding off on any treatment for at least another 21 days.
Nepolitano had horrible bedside manner, raised her voice, and made unspeakable accusations towards me based on her assumptions of how I acquired my hand infection. I presume, those of which, she decided to deny me prompt care, based on. So gross, inappropriate, and unprofessional. She should not be working in healthcare. I would likely be one finger down (or worse), had I not known better than to follow along with her orders.
I would recommend literally anyone else. 2 thumbs down!
