Best experience I have ever had. I went in and had to have a tooth extracted. I hardly even felt the numbing shot and his bed side manners are awesome! . Dr. Barker is the best oral surgeon I have ever been too. I have had some really bad experiences. So if you are looking for an oral surgeon you will not be disappointed. And his staff is just as pleasant!

The Army sent me here for 2 wisdom teeth extractions a year apart. Each time the dentist Dr. Barker, the ladies up front and the dentist aid (I don't know what the real name for it is, sorry) were 10 out of 10. You can tell they all know what they are doing. My appointment was at 3 and I was getting numbed up at 3:10. For getting a tooth yanked out or anything else related to teeth I'm going here if I have a choice. I cant say enough good things about this place. 10/10

Best office folks ever. So nice and professional. Dr. Barker is a great guy. Friendly and compassionate as well as a great oral surgeon.

It took months to get this appointment
I ask when I called did they take my insurance united health and they said they did at the time of my call. Then they call me 5 days before the appointment and Nancy tells me in a brisk tone that they don't take my insurance. Was I going to come to the appointment. I ask how much she said 75.00 to a 100.00. I said OK. I said I have waited mnhs for this apt w/ a abscess mouth. I said oh I am making this appointment. She said well he might not want to see yuy.
I don't go to this doctor, bad staff. Nancy said that she would have to check with the doctor to see if he wanted to see me since it was paying cash.cash. I think I am going to report him to Frankfort ky board of dentist.

I had a great experience at Dr. Barkers office! I had 4 erupted wisdom teeth that were causing an infection so I called and they were able to get me in to the office that day for a consultation. They were very friendly and thoroughly explained the procedure and insurance costs to me. We booked the surgery a month out. I was extremely nervous about the surgery because I had never had an operation done before but they were excellent at calming me down and making me feel comfortable. The surgery felt like it only lasted minutes and I was on my way home. Even though I followed the post op instructions thoroughly, I had no pain whatsoever at any point after my surgery and I had very minimal swelling. I was able to go back to eating normal food after 4 days or so. I was relieved to have such a simple recovery after hearing horror stories from some friends and family about their procedures. I cant thank anyone else but Dr. Barker and his team for taking such good care of me!
