Expect nothing from this Gay Brewer Picadome golf course. Worn out, filthy, torn up facility, and not well-mowed beyond fairways. Management bias against female players.

Call before you rent. The website is misleading when it comes to renting the outdoor shelters. It showed what looked like electricity was going to be at the Idle Hour Park Shelters. I chose location for our Memorial because it was inbtown and more private. Once I got there I saw that there wasn't any electricity for us to do our video memorial.

Lexington's Parks and Recreation have diminished over the years. Most of the community centers are now office spaces for Lexington Fayette County Government, and farmed out to outside businesses. Parks and Recreation don't offer programming or activities for the youth within the neighborhoods, and most recently the Parks and Recreation staff was forced by the community to expand the centers hours of operations during the summer months for the kids to have a safe place to go, and now that same staff is scrambling to provide after school activities and find proper staffing, although the school year has started. It's sad that the city has record breaking numbers of killings and violence among the youth, while the communities are locked out of It's centers that were developed to prevent the problem in the first place. The City Leaders, Elected and Appointed Officials, and LFUCG Staff would rather redevelop and cause displacement of the community, rather than actually doing it's job by opening up the facility’s and offering quality programming for its community, its not that hard.
