Complete silence after calling early 2022 for legal assistance. Office claims I never called and to have no file for me, despite having spoken directly with someone to get a file/case started. Impossible to get a hold of anyone here. Massive headache overall, do not recommend.

The attorney assigned to me did a horrible job in contacting me for a court date and I ended up receiving a bench warrant. She emailed the night prior and never tried giving me a call. I learned that was not acceptable communication per the Conduct of Attorney's rules, but was not vindicated when I tried to address the matter with everyone that I could. The only thing I could do was pay a reduced amount of $500 to have the warrant lifted. When I called Kansas Legal Services to speak with the head attorney about this matter, I was told it would be a conflict of interest. So if you ever have a complaint you are left to file with the Kansas Bar Association and it takes so much time that your issue will land you in jail before you see anything done. Even after I could show that my attorney and the Court Trustee Attorney did not adhere to the Rules of Conduct for an Attorney, by not replying to a correspondence from myself about getting this matter resolved. More cold shoulder treatment and the warrant is still in tact. Causing me further legal troubles, which I couldn't get representation for through Kansas Legal Services. Eventhough I went through the application process and was told I qualified. I was told to call around and try to get pro Bono services. So the rules did not apply, instead they stuck up for the attorney and protected her instead of the process adhering to the published rules. I don't know what to do because this has caused a large matter that I am now facing.
