I"m beyond frustrated by my experience here today. I was scheduled for a mammogram by my doctor a few weeks ago. My first appointment was rescheduled by Westwood. The day before my rescheduled appointment, I had a voicemail on my phone from when I was at work asking about any previous medical records. I tried to contact the company that had done my most recent mammogram, but they had no record. I was NOT informed that I would be wasting my time going to my scheduled appt. the next day. Instead, I took time out of my busy schedule to drive all the way there, fill out paperwork, and was directed to change into a gown. Then I was asked more about my previous records. I suggested that we could probably locate a 2015 mammogram from a center in Albuquerque, at which point the staff member working with me told me that they would not be giving me the mammogram today as scheduled, and that instead they'd request my old records and let me know about rescheduling. As a busy professional, this was unacceptable. There was absolutely no reason for them not to conduct the mammogram and then wait for the old images to arrive in order to compare them. I was already there, in my gown. Anyone who has had one of these knows that it's not exactly something women love to do. It was humiliating and frustrating and I will be looking elsewhere for a more professional organization.
