Dr Hanschu was able to answer all my questions and concerns. It was clear she could answer questions on a medical level as well as one that was easy to understand. She came up with a treatment plan for home and coming back to the office. She is incredibly kind and intelligent. I would recommend her to anyone.

I was helped by Dr. Hinton and Dr. Hanschu when I got PRK surgery. I had some rescheduling errors that everyone was very helpful and apologetic about. Now, a year after surgery, I had my last mandorty exam and have 20/20 vision again. Can not express my gratitude and how professional, informative, and helpful everyone was enough. I will be continuing to use them for basic checkups from now on.

I cant speak to how the doctors are but I will say that in the last month I have taken my other half to 2 appointments. Both times I was appalled at some of the unprofessional comments I overheard while sitting in the waiting room. Receptionists being just this side of rude. Having worked in a medical office myself for 13 years what I heard here shocked me. I think some office etiquette and phone etiquette training would be helpful.

Dr. Hinton was very friendly and professional at first but the second appointment is what caused me to stop seeing him- was rushed and no advice at all, which is not what a patient deserves who pays for this medical service, its not free Dr. Hinton.

What an experience, my surgery was a year ago in Topeka, Kansas. The patient support was incredible then, Dr. Genstler has found the most caring, supportive and smart people to care for us. My first annual follow up was 5 December 2023. Denise took charge of my reviews and ensured all the documentation was correct and sent me to my room. Stefanie talked me into dilating my eyes, we had an ongoing dialog as I tried to talk her out of it, Stefanie knows the checks and the reviews to set up for the Doctor and she was wonderful, I was unsuccessful in talking her out of the dilation. The final piece of the annual review was O.D. Hanshu, what a treat, she ensured I understood the review and what has happened to my sight over the year, what if any recommendations she has in a language that allowed me to realize what I was doing right or wrong and how to correct it. What a superb, caring and patient first Genstler Eye Center is. Thank you all.
