I am leaving a review because the Econolodge university hotel has been a godsend. Me and my friend have had to have somewhere to stay because of economic hardships, and they have been very understanding about our situation. Despite the fact that it is hard to get the internet here, all the amenities of a greater star hotel are here. The service and people who work here are extremely nice, management addressed any issure that I had, and overall was easy to work with.
In conclusion, this was a vacation where i had to work the entire time, and one that Econo lodge University hotel made light for me.
I would give this hotel a 9/10. The stars are a cursory way to measure the hotels worth, but you will not get the hometown-like vibe from any other hotel in town. I would recommend this hotel to my family members if they were coming to town to stay.
Nearby activities: The hotel is a short walk from campus and a lot of activities.
Safety: They are all about safety. I had an issue that wasn't my fault here and they made it easy for me to get through. I also felt comfortable while I stayed here.
Walkability: There is a park a really short distance from the hotel

The Internet didn't work well but other than that it's a great hotel!
