We were on our way from IA to Ok. Ended up stopping in Emporia at this hotel at 3 am due to an ice storm. Poor guy at the front desk really struggled checking us in since it was after hours. Took 1 hour. All we wanted to do was sleep. Finally at 4 am got our room.
Our room smelled of mold. We only stayed for thee hours and left because the smell was so bad. Just disgusting.
My daughter went to the breakfast area and we noticed the eggs were green. Yuck!
This place needs a major renovation.....more like it needs to be bulldozed.
We didn’t even want to shower as we were so disgusted with this place. Def one of the worst places I have ever stayed at.

The first room I was given smelled of cigarettes in the bathroom. This a non-smoking hotel. I was moved to another room, luckily it did not smell. The door only fully closed if it was shoved. The floors in the hallway were uneven and had soft spots. Overall, the place is ok but not great by any means.
