I have a lot of respect for the staff and students at IBA. They are all incredibly disciplined. If you care about your children's passions and dreams, this is where you send them. Ami Yaro, the head of the studio is a very caring woman, who teaches with a very professional and firm manner, all while still being warm and kind, instilling quiet confidence that's rare in the youth these days.
Quiet confidence means that you believe in yourself 100% to the point where you know that success is the only option or outcome. In other words, you don't talk about what you're going to do, you let your actions and results speak for you.
This is a sought after teaching style and is important if you're ever considering your child's transition from a studio to the professional world. If I had children of my own that expresses a desire to dance, there would be a few studios I would send them and this is on top of that list. The ballet here top-tier.
Just some background:
I'm a near 30 year old man that still likes to dance. I started dancing 10 years ago, when I was in college when I discovered how important it was for me. Dancing is a form of therapy for me. Wishing I had the opportunity to dance in my youth is an understatement. With this in mind, I pay very close attention to the many studios in the metro.
