Warning to renters:
Ask the person who is doing the initial walkthrough to use all their available tools. I was held liable for damage that likely happened before I rented the car.
They have a large disk that can show damage to the vehicle that they did not bring out until I returned the vehicle. The vehicle had large amounts of pre existing damage to the vehicle outside of what they claimed happened during the rental term.
In the future (if I am forced to rent here again) I will likely get the full coverage and not worry about how I treat the vehicle while I use it, or the condition I return it in.
