Staff are unprofessional, lack of expertise, do not stand behind their work, and rarely return calls. We exerienced less than satisfactory work on multiple occasions. We are now stuck with the problems. Doubt we will see these jobs in your ads. Glad to share photos.
Your response is not truthful. There was no second storm. Your salesman said the flat roof was in excellent condition. It appears as with another faulty 5 Star gutter job, your staff created the problem which resulted in extensive damage. While your Texas crew was not qualified to fix it, we could have been prepared if your staff would have addressed appropriately.

Thank you for wrapping the house correctly unlike when house was first built.

Do not work with this company.
I cant reply to the business response to my previous review 5 months ago. I want to ensure people know that I am still having issues with this contractor. I have highlighted my previous review in the photos.
The ceiling was cut down by me as the water contained in the ceiling would have created additional damage had it been left to absorb into the drywall and produce mold. The roofing subcontractor had removed a bat guard and had failed to replace it. Five Star has avoided payment to the contractor I had to contact for re install of the guards. I sent numerous emails with little communication besides Ill get this taken care of which was October to now. The salesperson, Mitch, is the only one with any communication and it appears as if it is not being handled appropriately from a level higher than him. The business owner, Chad Runge, had also sent an email to my contractor claiming that the invoice was already paid and that it appeared I, the homeowner, failed to pay the invoice. Chad has failed to return a phone calls and emails in regard to any of this. I had to pay the contractor myself as the bill was very much past due.

I had my roof replaced on 8/7 and on 8/11 I had a leak that caused significant ceiling damage. It was found that the roofing subcontractor reused a broken vent. Ill spare the 7 page google doc I have on how the process has gone terribly wrong. A representative of five star didnt step foot in my home for 2 weeks to assess the damage(after I made suggestions on what to do to help fix it) I had to do all the ceiling removal and dry it out myself- hours of my time wasted to prevent mold that they didnt seem to care to deal with. Other issues with items that should have been done and werent. I tried to play nice at the beginning but clearly that didnt help. Im consistently told they are working to have the issue cared for, but here I am with no drywall on my ceiling.. Service: Roof repair for storm & wind damage
