      image This place is NOT a place to buy jewelry. I bought a very nice gold necklace Dec 9th for a Christmas gift to myself. When the sweet lady put the 1st necklace around my neck, it fell off broken within 2 mins. We both thought if was just something weird. She brought out another one and I bought it. The necklace has broke THREE TIMES.I have asked for them to just return my money. Has not happened. I went in to talk to the jewelry manager. I explained that they have had it longer than I have. (It takes 3-4 weeks for repair)JC Penny apparently doesn't back their products. Not only am I stuck with a necklace that I am to afraid to wear, but I was made to feel like I was stupid...he accused me of wearing it incorrectly. JC Penny s has always been a great place... but I will never buy another thing from that jewelry counter!!!!! Deplorable!
