image Check your bill carefully. They will nickel-n-dime you. Charged us for every single little thing, caulk, plastic caps, including equipment that they took with them. All that can be used at their next job. Dishonest and rude. Would not recommend.

image The worst experience with a contractor I have ever had. The owner Pat seemed easy to work with at first but that impression did not last. I hired P.G. Electric to run 240 V outside and install a hot tub. Their electrician did a good job (minus the occasional forgetting of the tools at a previous job, running back and forth to get things he left behind, showing up late, etc.) up until the point when it was time to hook up the hot tub itself. As soon as the majority rough work was done, Pat came running over to collect a money, with the understanding that they will come back and finish the final hookup once the hot tub is in place. Pat demanded I pay him cash, which I refused as I never pay cash to contractors, rather than a check. After lots of huffing and puffing, he accepted my check, wrote "paid in full" on the invoice, and told me to let him know when the hot tub is moved into place so they can come do the final hookup. The hot tub was put in place on a Sunday, so I texted Pat right away to let him know. The response I received the next day was extremely rude and unprofessional. Pat called me and began yelling at me that I was texting him day and night (I texted him 1x on Sunday and 1x on Monday, when I did not receive a response) and that he was at church and that I was bothering him non-stop. Completely unnecessary outburst. He then said that I should find someone else to finish the job. (after cashing the check) Interestingly enough, his electrician showed up in a few days to finish the job anyways, apologizing for Pat and saying that he acts this way all the time with customers. He came late in the evening and said Pat sent him to install the breaker and finish the job. While he was finishing the installation, I noticed he brought a 50amp GFCI breaker with a huge crack on the side of it, with the insides of the breaker exposed. When I asked about the damage, he simply said that Pat took it out of something and it cracked during the extraction. I told him I do not want him to install the old and damaged breaker. I took a picture of the broken breaker and sent it to a friend who is an HVAC installer and he confirmed that such a damaged breaker is dangerous to use and that I should not let them put it in. Pat's electrician overheard our telephone conversation and started swearing and stormed off the job. Next day I went to 4 different electrical supply stores in the area, showed them the picture and all 4 locations confirmed that using a damaged breaker outside is very dangerous and against the city code. During a final inspection later on, the city inspector also confirmed the same. When I contacted Pat regarding the breaker issue, he insisted that the breaker would have been just fine and that he was going to give me a discount on it due to the damage. I refused to accept that reasoning and insisted that he come finish the job he was contracted to do and install a brand new breaker. He again began screaming and yelling at me and told me for the second time to go find someone else to finish the job. He then rudely hung up on me and refused to communicate any further. Nonetheless, I bought my own 50amp breakers (one for inside, one for outside). Pat's electrician later texted me and apologized for storming out and also for the damaged breaker, stating that "Pat should have never given it to him like that". He then came back and finished the job, using my brand new breakers, stating that he felt really bad about the whole situation and that I should never have to put up with that.
Needless to say, I will not be hiring P.G. Electric ever again or recommend the company to any family or friends, and my recommendation to you is, as Pat would say, "Find someone else!!!". Services: Installation, Socket or switch installation, Earth wire installation
