I have lived here almost 2 years. I kept my apartment clean and even my door entry. The office staff IChar, Ms. Thomas and Susan is very nice! They are very slow with maintenance. This apartment community was mostly minority. They collected a lot of rent from us over the past few years. The new company is renovated them to look very nice. The office stated many months ago that we have an opportunity to renew 3-6 mos leases. I just got a letter on my door stating that is not the case and when your lease is up, you have to vacate or pay approximately $200 more than you were paying before. The new website marketing contains mostly Caucasian and all of the minorities are having to move out. I think this community has bad eggs that need to go, but everybody has to leave unless you are willing to pay a lot more. As a single mom with no family, this short notice is very disrespectful and unprofessional. Not equal housing!!!

Worst apartment experience ever. Do not move here. Moved in August 2017. Still do not have a storage door that closes. Has fire damage on it. Was told incorrect information about the two bedroom units having washer dryer hookups. But turns out it was only certain units. Horrible customer service. Maintenance barely does their job. New property management took over in February/March. Still no storage door. Rent was due by the 5th of every month with old property management, and today I got a notice saying I have to pay rent with a money order by the fifth. Which is fine. But it's ridiculous that we weren't told about rent not being due by the fifth. Horrible communication. I can see they're trying but honestly I'm just staying here to make the ridiculous non refundable deposit worth it until I can get a house next year. Look somewhere else if you can. Edit: DO NOT move here at all costs. I moved out in August 2018 which was breaking my lease. Worst apartment experience doesn't even do it justice how horrible this place is. I would feel safer camping out in the woods with bears. If you have nowhere to go by all means check it out, but you're risking your safety by living here.

Tenants are being forced out so the new company can gentrify the neighborhood. It’s a shame us poor folks never get to have anything nice. Raising the rates by 200-300$ forces us all out and now, right at holiday season, lots of us have no places to go.

Had an appointment to see an apartment at 12:30 been waiting for 40 mins, and they aren’t answering the phone, not a good first sign at all, can’t even write a review on the actual apartments because they are taking so damn long to even let us see how the apartments look. Thank you for wasting my time

So I’m a recent resident. Started renting last year oct. well our lease ending was coming up and we got with them would have wanted to stay another year get some credit up. But no these people claimed to have sent my lease renewal forms via email. Where I work I’m always checking my email. They never sent this. I asked for confirmation and never got that couldn’t even show me they really sent these forms. And now I’m moving my 1year old daughter out in the cold to a new place. The cottages are the worst apartments ever. Maintenance is horrible and disrespectful. I will never recommend these apartments to anyone I know.
