Terrible. The girl at the front counter was great. She (chelsea) seemed to be working all alone with a full house and many unhappy guests. The building is in disrepair. There are commercial fans on high speed right outside my door. The TV doesn't work nor does the side table lamp. Lamp does not have any bulbs in it. Not worth even half of the 160 bucks I paid for the room.

Arrived on 4/15 and there was no water due to the water heater being replaced, it was replaced and we had hot water by the end of the evening. The next evening my brother accidentally dropped his debit card in the hallway and some from the hotel knocked on our door at 11pm asking if dropped our card and said something about finders fee or reward. I went to the front desk and asked about it, and was told he kinda works for the hotel but kinda doesn’t. Whatever that means. So once our stay was complete I called guest services number for corporate and they forwarded on my concern to the property management/ownership. It’s been 2 weeks and I still have yet to receive any follow up from them.

The room itself was decent size and bed comfortable. Not super clean and did not appear well maintained. This became even more evident when our toilet, which gurgled when flushed the night before, overflowed the next morning. After using all the towels to contain it we went downstairs about 7am to report it and asked could maintenance be called. The only employee there, who had a broken foot, and was making breakfast bags said she would come up and plunge it. No one to watch the desk so I agreed to do that. Back down she came, and the plunger broke, and she didn’t have another one. Whoever was supposed to come in that morning was late too. She said it would get fixed when the next person came in. We then asked could we use the lobby bathrooms and she said both those were not working so off to Denny’s we went to wait it out. Got back at nine to find it wasn’t touched yet, and new female was on duty and after asking when it would be fixed and getting a very rude and uninterested response that there is no maintenance person to call, she’d have to call the owner. I asked what the owners name was and her snide response was “What do you mean?” I said I mean what is the owners name. About 15 min later someone shows up, and plunges it till it works. No apology, no introduction as to who it was. We left for the day and the room was cleaned by the time we got back in the evening. Desk staff could not have been more unfriendly and unprofessional. Credit does go to the one with the broken foot for trying. Also, it was more than obvious lots of smoking had gone on in the hotel rooms, elevator and halls. It reeked of it. My review for the next La Quinta we stayed in in GA will get an exemplary rating as it as well run. Wont be returning to the Greenwood LaQuinta and can’t believe we paid what we did for that experience.

Was in a brochure from a recent hospital stay. The hospital apparently contracts to we get a small discount. The outside door was broken..it was proped open with a rock. They had no towels or washcloths in the room, so we requested them, we told the washcloths were on back order and they were out. ..if there was a breakfast..we were not told of it...ect...we have stayed at other La Quinta establishments and we're pleased. I definitely would not recommend this one.🤢
